  • The then-mayor of LA built the original house that predated this one in 1870, and then he literally dammed up a river to create a private lake for it. Baller.
  • The mayor’s name was Prudent Beaudry which is pretty much the most 1870s mayor name I can think of
  • Will Ferrell and Kristin Wig shot A Deadly Adoption here. Didn’t see it, but cool.
