Wow!
People have learned a lot about their housing needs from Shelter-in-place. The home they have just doesn’t work for them anymore: they need more space, they want a different layout, they want to be in a neighborhood where they can walk, they want a yard where they can stretch out and relax. In many cases, they can now live further away from their place of work because the working at home situation is going to become permanent. Some homeowners who weren’t thinking about selling are now considering it. Other sellers who were thinking of downsizing now realize they want to stay put because they need the space.
The buyers and sellers in this market, those willing to put up with all the precautions put in place, are very motivated. The buyers are aggressive. The properties move quickly. The prices are holding or going up. No sign of a downturn in real estate!!!
