Still plenty to do in the short month of February!
February is my favorite month because–you guessed it–Valentine’s Day! There is something special about a day filled with so much love and good feelings. Whether or not you have a Valentine to spend the day with, it is still a good time to count the blessings in your life and cherish those around you.
Besides Valentine’s Day, there are many other February events to entertain you through the month. There are many events to celebrate Chinese New Year as well as one to celebrate the Lunar New Year. I love the feeling of a new year, so any event that reminds me that the year is still fresh and new is great.
There are also two great events for kids to get hands on with creative activities. There’s the Rocket Building Walk-In at the Sierra Madre Library on the 2nd where participants get to build and launch paper rockets. And there is also the Crazy Kid Concoction happening on the 18th at the Monrovia Public Library, where kids can harness the power of Steam to create some awesome projects.
No matter how you wish to spend your month, there are plenty of events to choose from. Love is in the air, enjoy it!
