Multiple Homes Sold Above Asking Price
It’s always a fantastic feeling when I can tell my clients’ their homes sold above asking price. My last three sold listings have all closed with a greater selling price than the initial listing price. Each of these listings had multiple offers, which helped to drive up the final price.
The first to sell was the gorgeous, mid-century modern designer home in Los Feliz at 2285 North Hobart Boulevard. This home was in high demand for its unique design and desirable neighborhood, and after multiple offers, it finally closed 13.25% over asking price at $2,943,400. I’m sure many are jealous of the new owners of this truly one-of-a-kind home.
Soon afterwards, I had two starter homes both sell, one in Duarte and the other in Pasadena. 1813 Broadland Avenue, the cute bungalow in a popular neighborhood of Duarte, closed 3.19% above asking with a selling price of $380,786. Following close afterwards was 3725 Mohawk Street, a mid-century traditional home located in southeast Pasadena, which sold for 5.75% above asking price at $570,000.
A home in Escrow
The incredible bones of 1682 E. Mendocino appealed to many buyers. They looked past the simplicity of what was there and saw the great potential of what a perfect home it could be. After receiving 11 different offers, the home in now in escrow.
A Couple New Listings
As these past listings are sold and their new owners start the next phase of their lives, I too begin anew with a couple of new listings coming to market over the next two weeks. This week, 1038 E. Woodbury in Pasadena will be coming to market. You can see some preliminary details here before it goes live at the end of the week. Once live, you’ll be able to see every detail about the home here.
For my other forthcoming listing, you’ll have to wait until next week to find out more, or you can contact me to get a head start on this wonderful Pasadena home.
As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about buying or selling your home. I’m more than happy to help!
